**THE GIRL BAND CLUB**

setting:  on the street in the neighborhood.
Luke sees Claude in the park talking to Ellen and Mark.  He then takes one of her grocery bags
for her and walks with her.

CLAUDE:  Hi.

LUKE:  Something for me?

CLAUDE:  Heh, no.

LUKE:  I'll give you a hand.

MARK:  I already asked her if she wanted a hand buddy.

LUKE:  Is that right?

MARK:  Yeah, that's right.

CLAUDE:  Well, I... I should be getting home now.  The ice gream's gonna melt.

LUKE:  C'mon muscles, i owe you one.

LUKE:  Do you play the guitar?

CLAUDE:  Yeah. My friend Ellen and I, we were gonna start a band this summer but... Well she's
going out with that guy.

CLAUDE:  She really likes him a lot.

LUKE:  Ugh.. ew.

LUKE:  Anyway... a friend of mine opened this place... A lot of girl bands play there.  

CLAUDE:  Really, sounds cool.

LUKE:  You should go by and check it out.

CLAUDE:  Heh, yeah right.

LUKE:  You might find someone else looking to start a band.

CLAUDE:  I can't do it without Ellen.

LUKE:  Just go by!  It's really small, and cozy.  Yah never know.
